We are excited to introduce a seminar on the Future of Robotics and Intelligence systems! We focus on the meaning of intelligence, machine learning and the importance of the design of physical structures. With a panel of leading experts and students in the field, we will show some cutting edge research in robotics, and talk about how robotics can be used to solve the pressing challenges of the future.
This is aimed at KS3/KS4 Computer Science and Engineering students, and in addition the general public. We hope this will be exciting and informative event, and inspire a next generation of robotic engineers! We will touch in concepts central to the Computer Science GCSE and A Level Curriculum, and demonstrate how these fundamental concepts play a significant role in cutting edge robotics research.
We will end by introducing an ‘unplugged’ activity introducing the concept of embodied intelligence (requires only paper + scissors)!
