The Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London, is organising a winter school on Wearable Robotics to be held on 22 to 25th January, 2019 within the EU COST Action network CA16116.
The purpose of the winter school is to address the underlying topics of wearable robotics and get hands-on experience in their design, development and application. We have invited the leading scientists and practitioners in this field to give lectures.
The winter school will take place at a ski resort in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Lectures will take place in the mornings, afternoons will be dedicated for outdoor activities like skiing and networking, and hands-on projects will be carried out in the evenings.
We welcome applications of young talented students from around the world. If you want to participate, please send a 2 pages CV and a 1/2 page description of your motivation to participate to Jan Babic no later than 1st December 2018.
Upon availability after that date, applications will be accepted at a first come first serve basis. Accepted students should take care of their travel arrangements and cover accommodation costs. We reserved twin rooms in Ramada Hotel which cost ~500 € per week per person including half board and weekly ski pass.
We offer several travel awards for selected students. If you wish to be considered for the award, please indicate this in your motivation letter together with the reasons.
We look forward in welcoming you at this winter school.
