Now in it’s 5th year, the UK Robotics Week is the leading UK event in robotics and automated systems, with over 165 events – including 54 core events organised by the Network – featured in our programme last year.
Held in the last week of June each year, we showcase hundreds of robotics events, ranging from competitions, lectures, open days, symposia, hackathons, festivals, workshops, and film premieres throughout the UK.
The week concludes with our highlight event the International Robotics Showcase.

Great Exhibition Road Festival
This year we also participated in the Great Exhibition Road Festival: this is a hugely popular, flagship event heading into its 8th year. The festival took place along Exhibition Road on 29/30 June 2019.
The Festival is a partnership between 20 of the National Museums and cultural institutions on and around Exhibition Road. It marked the bicentenary of both Queen Victoria’s and Prince Albert’s birth and aimed to reinvigorate Albert’s original vision for Albertopolis – the world’s first planned cultural quarter for research, learning and creativity, created following the Great Exhibition in 1851.
The Festival was targeted at Londoners, and we worked hard to engage communities from our local boroughs who wouldn’t normally engage with our Institutions to involve them in the Festival. We welcomed teenagers and families who are inspired by the arts and sciences and could consider a career in our industries, as well as interested adults.
