The IET London is a prestigious venue located in the heart of London.
Getting There
On Foot

From Covent Garden
Leave Covent Garden underground station and head south towards Covent Garden Piazza. Go through the Piazza and head down to The Strand via Southampton Street.
On reaching The Strand turn left and head eastwards, turning right into Savoy Street. Head down to the bottom of Savoy Street and turn right at the bottom, directly into Savoy Place. We are the first venue on your right on the corner of the street.




From Embankment
Leave Embankment underground station via Embankment exit to the right.Turn immediately left onto Victoria Embankment and follow the road along to the first left turn, before Waterloo Bridge, where you will find IET London: Savoy Place on the corner.


From London Charing Cross
Leave Charing Cross station via the main exit into The Strand, turning right outside the station and heading in an easterly direction until you reach Savoy Street on the right. If you reach Somerset House, you have gone too far. Head down to the bottom of Savoy Street and turn right at the bottom, directly into Savoy Place. We are the first venue on your right on the corner of the street.


From Temple
Leave Temple underground station, turning right and right again onto Victoria Embankment.Head westwards, passing underneath Waterloo Bridge and crossing the road, where you will find IET London: Savoy Place immediately on your right as the first building in Savoy Place.



From Westminster station
Walk along the Embankment, past Embankment Station and follow directions from there (above).



From Waterloo Station
Walking across Waterloo Bridge and down the left-hand side steps down to street level. Cross the street and follow the directions above from Temple Station.
By Rail
From Heathrow Airport
- Take the London Underground (Piccadilly Line) to Covent Garden station (60 minutes travel time).
From Gatwick Airport
Take a National Rail train to Victoria station (30 mins travel time) and then travel by London Underground (Circle or District Line) to Temple (7 mins travel time)
From Stansted Airport
- Take a National Rail train to Liverpool street station (50 mins travel time) and then travel by London Underground (Circle or district lines) to Temple station (19 mins travel time)
By Underground
From London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International
- Take the London Underground (Piccadilly Line) to Covent Garden station (25 mins travel time) and follow walking directions above.
From London Euston Station
- Take the London Underground (Northern Line) to Embankment station (8 mins travel time) and follow walking directions above.
From London Paddington Station
- Take the London Underground (Bakerloo line) to Embankment station (13 mins travel time) and follow walking directions above.
From London Liverpool Street Station
- Take the London Underground (Circle or district lines) to Temple station (19 mins travel time) and follow walking directions above.
By Bus
The main bus service for the Victoria Embankment is the 388, although there are many other available bus routes on The Strand and over Waterloo Bridge which will bring you within short walking distance of the venue.
By Bike
There is a docking station for Santander Cycles hire right outside IET London: Savoy Place on the Embankment for added convenience when cycling to or from an event with us.
By Car
Car parking in the area is severely restricted and you are advised NOT to bring a car unless absolutely necessary. There is limited parking outside of IET London: Savoy Place, behind the Embankment Gardens on metered bays. See the City of Westminster website for further information.
Please note that IET London: Savoy Place is located within the congestion charge zone.
